Baromoter Methodology

The Service Revolution Barometer is based on the results of an independent survey of 400 CIOs in the UK and USA working in organisations with over 1000 employees. The CIOs worked for organisations in the following verticals: retail, public sector, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services and construction.

The survey focused on finding out how services are delivered across the six key functional areas of IT, marketing, finance, facilities, HR and legal.

The barometer score is calculated based on an analysis framework that scores respondents in relation to the maturity of their:

Service offering Organisational ability and culture Process excellence Technology capabilities
